This Girl. I have been friends with this girl since I was about 3 years old. I have never remembered a time when she wasn't around or a part of my life. So many of my life's milestones happened while she was there. She has continued to be my friend through my bossy stage ages 4 to 15. That was when she claims I "got better" at being bossy, haha. She was there the day of my granddad's funeral and took me home with her to spend the rest of the summer at the pool together. She was there with me during every nutcracker rehearsal and every spring recital. She came to my volleyball games in high school, school and club. Her family would take me in when my mom and dad would be gone overnight. And we have had countless beach trips and coffee dates. We have shared our lives together for so long that I can't imagine her not being a part of my life.
I knew that she was applying for Covenant for the fall 2012. When she got accepted I was ecstatic. With her little brother (my surrogate little brother) getting ready to attend this fall I was starting to be sad that we would have a year together without her. We would have memories together that she wasn't there for. But the other day I got some great news! Starting in January 2012, Hannah Stevens with be an official Covenant Scot with me and Harris.
Who wouldn't be excited to have someone who has been like a sister to them their whole lives join them at the same college. I know it will probably be a hard transition but I am so excited to see how she grows and changes as she takes this next step in her life! I have such great hopes for her and it is so exciting to see that after two years, God has called us to the same place, to the same school.
I can't wait to share in this next exciting chapter with you Hannah! I love you very much!
